Your first world

Wif begins with curiosity: what if you had a star of your own — and a world that responds to your wishes?

Get the client

Open the download page. You do not need an account. The client currently runs on Macs with Apple Silicon; requirements and the version are listed with the build. Unzip it and move WifClient into Applications.

Enter the universe

Create an account in the game or sign in with an existing one. Accounts created in the client can play immediately. Confirm your email within 24 hours to keep your account and progress; the email will show the exact deadline.

If you sign up on the website, confirm your email first, then add a game profile in your account. You can also manage profiles, your email address and your password there.

Find your star

Your own star system is the beginning of your story. Look at the sky, find the horizon, watch the light change. There is no need to rush to the next level: the world itself is the discovery.

Imagine your first wish

The idea behind Wif is to change worlds with words. An ocean, mountains, light, a moon overhead: imagine a place you would want to stay in. A wish becomes part of the world's history, and consequences matter more than speed.

The project is in development. Images on the website come from the client; they show its worlds without promising that every planned system is ready. Read about the rules and vision here, or follow development in the roadmap.
